The demand for natural gas in Europe is rising. The new EUGAL pipeline will significantly consolidate the security of the natural gas supply to Germany and Europe, and a big milestone has now been reached. Under construction for almost one and half years, the first string of the EUGAL European Gas Pipeline Link is now complete. From 2020 onwards, EUGAL will provide the transport capacity for another 30.9 billion cubic meters of gas per year. And we’re proud of ourselves: Steffel has been closely involved in the pipeline’s construction over virtually its entire length.

Only a pipeline that is working safely and reliably can be operated efficiently – that’s the reason one of Steffel’s priorities was to ensure the pipeline was laid flawlessly. Steffel’s personnel are now applying their commitment and expertise to completing the pipeline’s second string.
